I love this place, they never remember me but I wish they did. But they remember my dad each time. This is a VERY CLASSIC STORE if your for clothes respectful clothes this place is AWSOME! BEEN COMING HERE FOR 25years that's nothing though compared to the OG's...

Miss. Yvette is always very helpful! She knows her fashion well. I have bought two suits, and countless accessories out of that store over a 30-year period, and have always been completely satisfied!

Amazing selection and service! Total hidden gem and also nearly 100 years in business Family Owned!!! Pulled off an amazing full suit, hat, and shoes making this a one stop shop! Highly recommend.

I remember being a little boy in there for what seemed like hours while my dad picked a hat I love the old fashion service downtown I can get lost for a minute talking with staff about the old days and how hammer and Lewis came to be. I will forever support Hammer & Lewis I wish I could buy it one day that would be a dream come true keep up the good work Raza loves you guys

I remember this business from many years ago. It was a good store then and still the same now. Good selection of clothing, shoes, brims. Customer service was friendly and very helpful.

Amazing store with a good clothing selection. The owner Irving is also a very friendly and interesting person who I am glad I got to speak to and learn from, talking to Irving was definitely a hilight of both my day and my cousins day trip to San Jose who I was showing around

The quality at Hammer & Lewis is just incredible. The fabrics used in their button down shirts is clearly very high quality and the difference is apparent from the moment the tips of your fingers first make contact with the garment. Selection here is awesome and the staff knows the products inside and out!

I've visited this shop ever since I was a kid in the 90's It always has great quality suits and everyday wear for great prices. The workers here and the owner Ivette are so kind and welcoming to everyone of all walks of life. This is an iconic place in SJ and is worth the visit

Today is Cat's prom. We've been scouring online and mens wear stores in search of the unique Prom look Cat envisioned. Our last resort (which inhind sight should have been our FIRST!) Hammer & Lewis. We showed up looking for one item. Within minutes we had the entire outfit with the help of the beautiful angels working there. These badass mujeres went above and beyond to help put together the most firme outfit for my baby! They helped pick out the slacks the shoes and even hemmed the pants! They were like magical tias that came to save the day ❤️ And the cherry on top was the prices! I can't believe the deal we got! I really felt the community love from this store. It was the best experience and I am officially a loyal customer from here on out!
